Yes, I tried to sleep for an entire 45 minutes, but then got up as I was already writing my
summer_of_giles fic in my head. Oh, my poor head. Anyway, I Yahood this and found one entry for a particular university and was wondering if most/all U.K. universities followed the same school year.
Here it is:
Michaelmas Term: beginning October - end December
Lent Term: beginning January - mid/end March
Summer Term: mid/end April - end June
If this is accurate, then I can get on with fitting my fic into the time frame.
Thanks and, as always, hugs - even in the middle of the night!

If it were Oxford or Cambridge, they do have old names for the terms. In Oxford it's Michaelmas Term, Hilary Term & Trinity Term. Maybe the names you mention are the Cambridge ones?

And, now, back to my headache, er, thinking.
Hugs, as always,

Great! Always knew Giles was an Oxford man. He'd never go to that other place (by which I mean Cambridge, of course).

Um, I thought that Oxford was canon for Giles.
In this instance, I'm sending Dawn off to Oxford and then on to summer adventures - to get her out of the picture. [But not because I'm mean, just for getting the coast clear for Gilesian smoochies.]
