The Queen of Weird and Wacky did ... WHAT?

Oh, I love doing the weird and wacky ... from time to time. Why? Well, because I can. So, last night, I was up late reading and it was getting later and later and later. As I'd have had to set the alarm for 8 a.m. to take the dreaded antibiotic anyway, I decided NOT to go to sleep. Hee - I'm silly. So, after taking the yucky pill at 8, I called my financial adviser, then sent her an e-mail and went to sleep at 9 a.m., setting the alarm for 2:00 p.m. Yaaay - nobody called me during that time.

Otherwise, it was a quiet day. John called from work and told me to look out the window. I saw the storm heading down from the north-east. Pretty impressive. And also very dark.

M called upon getting home from the vet's. More major responsibilities - just don't make me watch. Needles ... sutures ... yuck!

A little TV (Enterprise, natch) and now I'm going to read for a bit. I must try to go to bed around 2. It's a conservative estimate. And boring. Ah, well, occasionally I can do boring.

When I lived on Cornwall I used to love watching storms come in from over Lake Ontario. That was such a great view. SD doesn't have much in the way of weather, and that's one of the things I hate about it.

Yeah, but you have a garden how many months of the year? So, mixed blessings - but still blessings.

Hugs - and hope you're feeling less stressed today. Being a cat-mommy (daddy) can be a huge responsibility.

We're going to try for a year-round garden using winter vegetables. About half our veggies failed, so we have to re-plant.

As you've read in my journal, Mei-Mei isn't doing too badly. The vet wants us to switch her to this gold-plated diabeties-management food but Mei-Mei has declared that it tastes like butt and is resisting.
