And I'm tired.

Did 4 loads of laundry, but drew the line at doing the stupid dust ruffle/bed skirt/stupid whatever. I even did my winter horse blankie and it is nice and soft and clean. Because I am the Queen of Laundry (or laundry whisperer) and knew to put the blankie in the dryer for no more than 10 minutes on delicate. Yes, I can sense these things, you know.

Well, enough domestic stuff. I need some confusion cleared up. Why is Mad Cow Disease brought up when referring to Denny Crane (Boston Legal). Yes, I know this happens when you just start watching a show at the end of the season. But I'm so confused!

I waited until M was riding in the evening to crawl in the shower to wash my hair. I must have gotten some water in my eye, because my vision is clearer. But don't get the idea that I'll use any eye drops. Because ick is still ick!

Even though we're all celebrating my birthday tomorrow, I had to finish my birthday prezzies for M (horribly delayed). I wrote two stories: an adorable one about our pigs; and the second one is about ... well, I'll post it here tomorrow, because it's outrageous and very special.

I finally finished off the last pork steak and added quasi-roast potato (nuked in micro, then tossed onto a hot skillet). I also finished off the sauteed leeks from yesterday. Cheapest (what, two bucks for a healthy meal?) good food I've had in a long time.

Tomorrow M is picking up two bottles of Asti Spumante I asked for (because it's not heavy and Brian can drink and it'll wear off quickly so he can drive us home). And Brian and I will have lots of shopping and stuff to do before the party. So I'm actually being good and crawling into bed. It just thundered a few minutes ago, so it can rain all night. I don't care, because the party's indoors. La-la-la!

Excited hugs,
H.

Denny Crane has been tested and found to be positive for the beginnings of Alzheimer's disease. Around that time, he had a case about cows and Mad Cow disease was mentioned, and how it can be confused with Alzheimer's and people who have that disease may really have Mad Cow. So he says he has mad cow.

Ohhhh, thanks so much for the explanation. Because I didn't understand what all the concern over his lawyerin' abilities was in the season finale.

And, as I am officially hooked, the next time I go into the city, I'll have to check out (meaning buy) the DVD sets.

I just love ALL the quirkiness of the firm - because it defies the super-conventional veneer lawyers are forced to adopt and conform to in RL.

Hugsies,
H.
