Well, if you're like me (and, trust me on this, nobody is), you sleep ... not for 12 hours ... but for 14! And, yes, I did wake up after 8, but decided to keep on sleeping. My non-activity of choice was reaffirmed when another thunderstorm popped up. There is something so peaceful about sleeping through rain (that's why I have my sound machine set to running stream - because it's a bit more melodious than the rain setting, but I'm digressing).

My day wasn't just about the sleep.

I dreamed.

I dreamed wonderfully. I was in an architectural contest and we had to build our models using straw mats. I remember one of my models was the A type of chalet and another one had a rectangular back deck. I obviously needed the REM type sleep and the dreams are proof of that. Or else, I'm just my usual quirky self. Can't dispute that.

Had a quiet day reading and made myself an amusing omelette which I then rolled up in a whole wheat tortilla. Messy but really good (and nutritious, too). I think the yellow plums are calling out to me. I don't think I can resist them. Huh - potato chips? Yellow plums have any bad snack food beat. I don't think the snack food manufacturers are going to make any money off me in the summertime.

Anyway, I see plums and more reading for tonight.
Hope you all had a good Friday.
Plummy, yummy hugs,
H.

Omelet rolled in wheat tortilla is breakfast burrito! Breakfast burritos are yum! If you can find soy chorizo at Loblaws (you might; Loblaws is great) scramble eggs with that stuff.

Hee - I was thinking of describing it as a breakfast burrito, but I didn't know whether that would have been correct. And it DID have sliced sausage in it.

Anyway, you can blame John for the fact that I am now buying whole wheat tortillas exclusively (rejecting bagels and rye bread). ::checks genes to make sure iz still Polish::

Foodie hugsies,
H.
