Well, it just had to be after yesterday's mini-meltdown. I made a personal phone call with an invitation that was accepted. Yay - makes me happy. Details not, because it's a sekrit. Then I washed my hair and had a lovely nap, although not taking the towel off resulted in serious stupid bed-head. No, really! But the nap was a very good thing. Then I set about to do some domestic chores. I fixed my Degas and (scarily) climbed up on my step-stool to hang it above the sideboard. Good show. I still have to clear away the dining table. Oh, only midnight, I guess I can do it now.
Talked to M several times and we both watched The Biggest Loser and How to Look Good Naked, with chats during the commercials. We both agree that the host of the Naked show has to be the most absolutely supportive man on earth to make an insecure woman feel good about her body.
Anyway, I think I'm going to toddle off to do the dining table. Many chores tomorrow, but I'm going to try to fit in a manicure and pedicure and grocery shopping and returning empty wine bottles ... and I'd better get ready now.
